As I stepped into the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta in mid-February, I was greeted with the buzz of conversation of hundreds of people, acoustically dampened by the breathtaking 40 story open atrium above me. People in business dress with various colored lanyards around their necks were milling around on a coffee break, some in groups of old friends and others catching up on emails. On this dreary, rainy day, I was setting foot into the ConvergeOne annual Sales Kickoff for the purpose of supporting our partner in generating excitement around the new Customer Engagement Optimization Services (CEOS) initiative with NICE.While I was helping to set up our booth in their partners’ exhibit area, Kathy Sobus, ConvergeOne’s Senior Director, Customer Experience Strategy, was educating the C1 sales group on the new initiative. CEOS is a continuous improvement program that uses NICE Nexidia IVR Optimization and Nexidia Analytics. Wrapped with ConvergeOne Services that standardizes on an innovative. method providing contact centers with recommended actions based on analytics insights, managing the execution of those actions, and monitoring them over time. For businesses that need but are not prepared to invest in building their own analytics programs in-house, this new offering can be an invaluable option. When it came time for the C1 sales organization to visit the partner exhibit area, we at NICE found ourselves swamped by individuals wanting to understand more about our solutions, what we offer, and how to leverage the CEOS initiative. I was awash in excitement as I not only educated many people on what we can do for their customers, but also conversed with a very engaged, energized and interested group of individuals. Together, we were trading knowledge and working to solve very real challenges that our mutual customers want to overcome. After we finally broke late in the evening with tired feet and weary eyes, I stood looking out on my hometown from the 37th floor of a beautiful hotel I’d only ever admired from the highway, and I felt pride in being just a small part of making the world work better. I was alone with my thoughts, but not at all alone in being energized with the knowledge that I can help so many people solve problems bigger than ourselves, problems that affect hundreds and even thousands of people – that when solved, put a smile on the faces of every single one of us involved. It’s nice to be NICE, but it’s even better to be NICE to our partners, especially ConvergeOne. I wish the best of luck to our partners. We’ll support you every step of the way.
