Signs your quality management process is outdated

If your quality management program still relies on manually sampling a small percentage of interactions - typically under 5-10% - it is missing the vast majority of customer interactions and the coaching opportunities they contain. When quality scores are inconsistent across different evaluators reviewing similar interactions, the lack of calibration and standardization is undermining the program's credibility. Significant time lag between when an interaction occurs and when it is scored and discussed with the agent reduces the coaching value, since the context is no longer fresh. If quality scorecards have not been updated to reflect current digital channels, AI-assisted interactions, or evolving customer expectations, the evaluation criteria themselves are measuring the wrong things. When quality data exists in isolation from coaching workflows, performance management, and broader analytics, the program fails to translate measurement into actual improvement. Modern AI-powered automated quality management addresses each of these limitations directly.
