Everest Group highlights NiCE’s broad enterprise-grade portfolio, expanding agentic AI capabilities, and NiCE Cognigy integration
NiCE has been recognized as a Leader and positioned furthest on the “Vision and Capability” axis in the Everest Group European Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026, which evaluated 15 providers. NiCE received high ratings for both portfolio mix and value delivered, regional operations and execution, CCaaS capabilities, and AI maturity and integration.

The assessment cited NiCE as offering one of the broadest enterprise-grade CCaaS portfolios, bringing together omnichannel engagement, intelligent routing, conversational self-service, workforce engagement management, analytics, quality management, knowledge, agent assistance, and workflow orchestration. Everest Group also highlighted NiCE’s expanding agentic AI capabilities and NiCE Cognigy integration, which enable AI-led execution across customer service workflows beyond conversational automation.
The Everest Group report also stated that NiCE is well suited for large and regulated enterprises, supported by GDPR compliance, role-based access controls, data redaction and regional data residency. The report also highlighted mature agent productivity capabilities, including next-best-action guidance, real-time knowledge assistance, AutoSummary, supervisor copilots and conversational intelligence.
The report identified analytics and quality management as NiCE’s key differentiators, with AI-driven quality evaluations, Voice of the Customer analytics, root-cause analysis, and automated coaching supporting continuous service improvement. NiCE’s workforce engagement capabilities, another cited differentiator, including AI-based forecasting, scheduling, performance management, and coaching, further strengthen its ability to improve operational efficiency, the report noted.
The report also highlighted NiCE’s strategic investments and partnerships that “strengthened its ability to support industry-specific and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives”. Mentioned were Epic EHR integration and collaborations with Konecta. Deloitte Digital, AWS, ServiceNow, and Snowflake.
“NiCE has strengthened its position in Europe by aligning its CCaaS proposition with enterprise priorities around governed AI adoption, regulatory requirements, multilingual operations, and cloud modernization,” said Sharang Sharma, Vice President, Everest Group.
He concluded, “NiCE’s ability to combine AI-led automation with enterprise-grade governance and operational control makes it well suited to the complexity of regulated and multi-country environments. The addition of Cognigy further enhances NiCE’s conversational and agentic AI capabilities, while its broader ecosystem relationships support enterprises navigating increasingly interconnected CX technology environments. These strengths have contributed to NiCE’s recognition as a Leader in Everest Group’s European Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026.”
