Vice President Product Management, Trading Compliance Software

Overview:

Our Compliance Line of Business (LoB) is seeking a Vice President of Product Management. This role is responsible for the development and execution of the Compliance product strategy of our entire suite of trade compliance solutions for the financial services and banking industry.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaboratively define business and product strategy through understanding the market (market segmentation, growth opportunities, key industries and solution areas)
  • Own the overall product roadmap for the Compliance LoB
  • Manage a team of 20+ Product Directors, Product Managers, and Product Owners
  • Create new solutions and extend existing technology solutions to help customers meet regulatory requirements while reducing costs of surveillance and trade reconstruction versus traditional methods
  • Own the product management process from initial market problem definition, through to product requirements, pricing, product development, positioning, product evolution and on-going product maintenance
  • Build strong relationships and indirectly manage teams in a highly-matrixed environment with customers, sales, regions, partners, services and product groups
  • Assemble product requirements from multiple sources (e.g. research, usability, customer feedback, partner data, competitive assessment) and communicate requirements to product development
  • Educate and enable the customer facing organizations to ensure successful go-to-market
  • Support sales and services in customer engagements—capturing the voice of the customer and bringing it back to the product and R&D teams
  • Build the business case for product investments driven by customer requirements, competitive landscape and company strategy. Integrate product innovation into the fabric of the organization
  • Set KPIs for measuring product success – supporting financial targets and growth
  • Accelerate NICE’s effort to deliver solutions via the cloud

                                  
Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise and/or SaaS software product management
  • Minimum 5 years team leadership experience and a strong track record of attracting and developing talented Product Managers
  • Experience using agile product development methodologies
  • Previous experience in compliance or trade technology solutions – an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in development and execution of a commercial Product Portfolio Strategy, successfully driving multiple software products simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in working with a B2B software sales team
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication and change management skills.
  • Experienced in working in a global matrixed environment
  • Experience in Enterprise Software that is used daily by 1000s of end users--Experience in B2B, Analytics and/or Cloud.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed product management and development teams
  • Masterful ability to prioritize long (and growing) lists of demands
  • Strong written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills and ability to confidently and clearly communicate to both internal and external audiences
  • Strong team player who is easy to partner with across functions, cultures and geographies
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex global environment
  • Ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally

 

Education and

  • BA/BS Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • MBA strongly preferred
