NICE Actimize is currently looking for Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic global Product Support team.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide expert technical assistance to customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong Customer relationships
  • Coordinate with Internal Groups to solve technical issues
  • Managing and leading the local technical support team

 

Qualifications

 

  • E/B.Tech or degree equivalent.
  • 6+ years’ experience with software support is a MUST
  • Excellent trouble shooting, fault diagnosis and root cause analysis skills is a MUST
  • Strong team leadership skills is a MUST
  • Ability to manage trouble ticketing resolution process and escalations from customers and team members
  • Ability to independently prioritise work and multi task
  • Confident disposition and ability to manage high pressure customer interactions
  • Proven track record of providing support to External Customers
  • Experience in one of the following databases: Oracle and/or MS SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL
    • Experienced in troubleshooting with some exposure to performance tuning in one of the following:
      • Database
      • Application Server
      • Operating System
      • SAN & I/O Infrastructure
    • Proficient with Unix/Linux or Windows operating system
    • Experience with web technologies (Web Servers, Applications servers)
    • Development experience in any programming language (e.g. Java, C++, VB) – a plus
    • Technical Support Experience with enterprise software
    • Ability to establish sound working relationships with many diverse groups
    • Strong Attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
