The EEM Solution Sales Engineer is technical technical expert and source of knowledge for our Employee Engagement Product. With a high degree of understanding within Workforce Management arena. This person should have the ability to solve for designs that combine multiple technical capabilities. With deep and broad experience in multiple hardware and software environments, the role is comfortable navigating across complex systems. In Addition, this person needs to be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to articulate technical and business value to a variety of audiences. Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Effectively support early and late stage deals to establish NICE as the technical leader
  • Partner with Engineering to evaluate and select new technology for the EEM product
  • Participate and assist in go-to-market planning working with all stakeholders to execute
  • Assist with sell consultatively to senior executives and develop a deep understanding of customer business processes and technical landscape
  • Work in tandem with NICE Account Executives and fellow Solutions Engineers to develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
  • Maintain and enhance NICE sales demo instance to keep up with product releases and create the best possible external image
  • Lead proof-of-concept and custom demonstration activities:
    • Interpret customer requirements and develop working prototype solutions for Incentive Compensation solutions.
    • Architect solutions which showcase NICE advantages and promote easy comprehension
    • Present in depth to business and technical audiences while maintaining focus on high level value proposition and sales strategy.
  • Work closely with Product Management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancements
  • Provide an advanced level of support to the Account Manager and Functional Consultant in specific challenging technical situations that require greater efforts.
  • Professionally and independently conduct complex discovery conversations, negotiations and needs analysis for technical topics.
  • Deeply understand the diverse capabilities and requirements needed to be incorporated in a particular design regarding customer expectations.
  • Identify all technical challenges of the customer to assure a complete design and solution customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Create research and develop designs to unique customer specifications with applicable documentation that fully articulates the NICE products technical capabilities and solves to the stated requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding advanced technical specification efficiently and effectively.
  • Own specific area of expertise, and act as source of knowledge between the organization, customer and the product mgmt.
  • Convey specific customer requirements to Product Management teams as well as provide product feedback and work closely with product management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancements.
  • Provide training and produce associated material for other members of the sales teams to educate, support and advance NICE sales.
  • Seamless collaboration with the sales account managers and functional consultants fostering an integrated team approach to customer engagement.
  • Act as an integral team member working to achieve regional and team sales goals
  • Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

 

Required skills and relevant experience include:

  • 5+ years of experience in the enterprise software marketplace
  • Knowing the market standards
  • Knowledge of Contact Center and Workforce Management applications and processes
  • Self-starter and technical “tinkerer” seeking technical depth and complete understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to deliver value propositions to customer's senior staff and navigate all key functions within large customer organizations (e.g. IT, Finance, Operations)
  • Confident and energetic; professional and team-oriented
  • Exceptional communication and presentations skills. Highly articulate and able to confidently explain complex models in a clear simplified manner.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong technical aptitude and innate passion for seeking technical depth and complete understanding.
  • Vertical market selling experience including Banking, Credit cards, Insurance, Telcos, Healthcare and others
  • Collaborative team oriented approach to selling with the ability to develop relationships with the ‘C’ or VP level business users to sell based on business value and influencing on technical issues.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Inherent self-sufficiency, flexibility and confidence with a preference for autonomy to take ownership and manage activities & processes to achieve revenue results.
  • Strong domain expertise combined with advanced strategic and project management skills.
  • Proven successful ability to sell Enterprise software/business solutions/business intelligence
  • BA or BS from an accredited university in a technical field or relevant experience.
