Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Solution Architect to handle all aspects of data integration and deployment of our NICE Customer Journey Solutions (CJS) applications. This role will work closely with our customers, focused on ensuring the success of our project engagements by deeply understanding the business and associated data needs, clearly identifying risks and challenges, confidently influencing the team to practical and valuable data solutions, and thoughtfully overseeing technical design and implementation. This is very much a hands-on role with heavy doses of data modeling, design, and implementation. This person must be a simplifier, who removes roadblocks for his own team and for customers… showcasing collaborative communication, creative solutions, and extensive use of automation wherever possible. Responsibilities
 Influence customers to practical and valuable solutions
 Lead large enterprise class data-oriented projects
 Perform hands-on design and development of data solutions
 Operate independently at customer sites, get lay of the land, identify highest priority items, and work them to conclusion
 Design and develop standardization and automation tools
 Integrate NICE's applications with wide ranging customer backend enterprise source systems using ETL, XML, and scripting languages
 Work closely with customer IT organizations and NICE development teams
 Innovate with the product - define new techniques and best practices for all areas of configuration, and evangelize to the rest of the services team
 Act as a “go-to" technical resource for Integration Engineers

Required Skills/Experience
 5-10+ years in data modeling and architect role
 Led efforts to design data warehouses
 Completed large enterprise class data-oriented projects in leadership capacity
 Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Appreciation of the broad perspective of business and technology
 Collaborative approach to design and development
 Enterprise data architecture concepts
 Relational data modeling covering conceptual, logical and physical data models, dimensional data models, Data Dictionary and Metadata
 Systems integration
 Business Intelligence and reporting solutions
 Deep experience with Oracle databases, SQL Server a plus
 Knowledge of various ETL tools (DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, etc)
 Ability to multi-task by working across multiple projects
 Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
 Extensively lead meetings resulting in clear actions and timelines
 Pro-active

Valuable skills
 XML, ETL, JSP, HTML, Lisp, Python, Perl
 Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
 Experience as a Software Developer, DBA, System Administrator, or Network Administrator
 Experience with implementing and managing data warehouses
 Familiarity with enterprise applications in call centers (e.g. Avaya, Siebel, Genesys)
