NICE User Group Summit FAQ’s
This is my first time attending the NUG Summit. Is there anything special I should know?
Be sure to attend the First Timers Welcome Meeting on Monday, July 28th at 11 am.  There you will get an overview of the summit, meet other first timers and the NUG board, and ask any questions you may have.
Is there anything I should make sure to bring with me to the conference?
Business Cards with your contact information for networking.  And don’t be afraid to share them!
Will I be able to meet others from the same industry? I’ll be traveling alone.
You can meet and network with others from your same industry in the Birds of a Feather (vertical networking events).  Additionally, in your sessions and at networking opportunities, you can find and connect with others in your industry.  Also you can look for other NUG members on the NUG web site [by industry or Special Interest Groups] and check to see who might be going to the NUG Summit.
What are some tips to help me make sure I have a successful conference?
Be the starter of conversations.  Don’t wait and take the chance on missing a great networking opportunity
Make sure you have plenty of business cards and share them
Mingle – don’t just sit with the people you came with.  They’ll be back in the office with you but the other folks at the Summit won’t be!
Be an active participant.  Remember, you get out of the conference what you put into it!
If the registration table is busy, who else can I ask questions to?
You can address questions to any of the NUG Board Members who will be wearing red shirts.
Do I have to sign up for my sessions? If so, can I select sessions from the different Tracks, or must I select and attend sessions in one Track?
Signing up for sessions is optional.  You may sign up for sessions in any of the tracks, but be sure read the session description to get the most out of the session.
Once I’ve signed up for my sessions, can I change or add sessions when I arrive on site at the Summit?
Yes, you may.  However, the Hands-On sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis.
If there are sessions taking place at the same time that I'd like to attend, is there a way for me to obtain the presentation on the other session?

If I miss the first day’s networking activity, will there be additional opportunities to network with NICE representatives and other NICE users?
