NICE Systems Marks Tenth Anniversary of PSAPs’ Finest Program by Recognizing Award Recipients at National APCO Conference

​Paramus, New Jersey, August 17, 2015 – NICE Systems today announced the winners of its 2015 PSAPs’ Finest Awards in a ceremony held at the NICE booth (#1423) during the APCO International 81st Annual Conference and Expo, in Washington, D.C.

The PSAPs' Finest Awards, which are sponsored annually by NICE, recognize exemplary individuals in the field of emergency communications. Each year, four top performers are selected by a panel of judges from the 911 industry based on criteria such as: years of service, exemplary contributions to their agency, innovative thinking and execution, depth of knowledge, dedication, and specific positive impacts to public safety communications in their communities. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the award program, which has now recognized 44 dedicated public safety communications professionals.

Shilling, Police Communications Analyst, Seattle PD 911 Center; Grace Kippen, Supervisor, Communications Systems, Peel Regional Police; Randy Beeman, Emergency Services Director/ Fire Marshall, Cumberland County, North Carolina; Kathi Yost, 911 Administrator Coordinator, Harris County Sheriff’s Office; and Greg Silas, 911 Director, Birmingham, Alabama.
