NICE will also participate in an educational panel discussion: Next Generation 9-1-1 and Emergency Management and Contingency Planning

RUTHERFORD, New Jersey, June 5, 2012, NICE today announced that it will showcase its Next Generation 9-1-1-ready solutions at its booth (#1530) at the NENA 2012 Conference. The event will take place on June 9-14 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Among the industry-leading solutions that NICE will be demonstrating is NICE Inform, the first incident information management solution capable of capturing and synchronizing multi-media sources including video, audio, GIS-based information, text, and other data. A Next Generation 9-1-1-ready solution, NICE Inform ensures that once migration to Next Gen 9-1-1 takes place, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) are ready to meet the challenge of capturing additional forms of data from emergency calls, including voice, text, images, and video. NICE Inform also allows PSAPs to achieve virtual consolidation. For example, agencies can host their IP recordings and other multimedia at a central site and securely access this information over a shared IP network, eliminating technology duplication.

During the NENA Conference, NICE will also participate in an educational panel discussion. John Rennie, Vice President of Solutions Engineering, Security Group, at NICE Systems, will join NENA’s Roger Hixson and other industry experts to discuss “Next Generation 9-1-1 and Emergency Management and Contingency Planning: Opportunities and Challenges” on June 12at 4p.m.
