The FAST alpha silver portfolio is an advanced, IP-based MPEG-2,MPEG-4 and H.264 video and audio recording solution that provides you with an enhanced user experience, superior video quality and a sophisticated user-friendly GUI. Ideal for both distributed and centralized sites that leverage IP networks, the FAST portfolio is highly flexible while supporting open architecture environments.
The FAST alpha silver portfolio is comprised of all the elements necessary for flexible and scalable video and audio recording for your IP video surveillance system. The system uses several high volume RAID storage disks, enabling continuous recording for several months, and supports unicast and multicast video streams. In addition, you can easily customize its performance by upgrading each channel to the desired video quality, recording speed and audio.
Included in the FAST portfolio is the compact Digital Video Server (DVS 3200/6400), using alpha® technology encoders and codecs, available in 32 and 64 channel models. The Network Video Recorder (NVR 3000) offers an open platform with extensive management capabilities that support large-scale system architectures. High reliability is provided by full redundancy mechanisms. For maximum flexibility and efficiency, external RAID storage devices can be added and third-party systems can be easily integrated using the powerful integration capabilities based on Software Development Kit (SDK) and system macros.
IP VIDEO ENCODERS / CODECS
The NVE 1008 manages eight simultaneous, non-multiplexed MPEG-4 and H.264 video streams with low latency. Superior video quality with 4CIF real-time streams, audio support, and its patent-pending “Zero-Points-of- Failure” redundancy concept makes this device unique in its class.
Similar to the NVE 1008, the scalable ENC 8M2 8-channel MPEG-2 encoder offers unmatched flexibility with the option to individually upgrade video quality, resolution and audio for each channel. The unit is capable of encoding/decoding at variable bit-rates, supports the most effective techniques available for maintaining high video quality.
The FAST NVE1001 is a 1 channel encoder supporting MPEG4 compression, up to 4CIF resolution, audio in and out functionality and dual coding, the NVE1001 provides optimal cost and value for single camera configuration.
The FAST alpha silver portfolio seamlessly manages all video cameras with any mix of 8-channel encoders and 1-channel encoders, connected directly to the DVS or via the network, the portfolio also provides interfaces to numerous 3rd party IP cameras and encoders – providing high flexibility to your system layout and requirements.
