Former Secretary of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge, recently paid a visit to NICE to learn more about NICE's solutions for the security sector.
Ridge, the first person to hold the top Homeland Security position, was appointed in 2003 by President George W. Bush following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. From 2003 to 2005, Ridge headed up the Department of Homeland Security, unifying 22 agencies and 180,000 employees in a common mission to fight terrorism and secure U.S. borders.
The meeting between the former Homeland Security Secretary and NICE executives, led by NICE CEO Haim Shani, took place at NICE's Tel Aviv offices. "We presented NICE's security solutions, including our solutions for first responders and border control which include smart video capabilities and the newly-released NICE Inform, that first responders can use to capture, consolidate and analyze multimedia information, including voice and video," said Haim. "These capabilities, along with NICE Inform's ability to improve inter-agency sharing of critical incident information, are increasingly in demand by first responders, city centers and other organizations focused on public safety and homeland security."
During the presentation, NICE also shared examples of top agencies that are using and benefiting from NICE's security solutions. |
