| NICE ANNOUNCES WINNER OF “BEST CUSTOMER STORY” CONTEST |

NICE is pleased to announce the winner of the NICE “Best Customer Story” contest – Scott Simcox, emergency communications supervisor for the Largo Police Department. For his winning submission, Scott will take home the top prize – an iPod!!!
Scott wrote to us from the “City of Progress” (Largo, Florida) to tell us how NICE has helped his department make some progress of its own – toward boosting efficiency. The Largo police communications center handles about 277,100 calls a year and as such, often receives requests to retrieve captured interactions for investigations.
According to Scott, audio reproduction requests that used to take hours with the center’s old recording system now take minutes with NICE. “We all love the new NICE system,” he said. “The supervisors used to hate making tapes because of the time it took,” he said – but NICE makes the job “quick and simple.”
