NICE wins VoIP award: NICE received a 2006 Excellence Award from Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC®) INTERNET TELEPHONY® magazine recently. "The winners of the second annual INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award are leaders in VoIP,” said Greg Galitzine, Editorial Director of INTERNET TELEPHONY. “Taking risks to advance VoIP technology and provide real solutions has earned NICE recognition from the editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY. NICE's VoIP solutions have excelled in the VoIP industry, and most importantly, its customers are willing to offer their testaments of support," Galitzine added.
The 2006 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award winners will be profiled in the October 2006 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY. Award recipients are also listed on the TMC website at www.tmcnet.com/awards/it-excellence-award-winners-2006.htm.
- NICE and Avaya Extend Global Alliance: NICE and Avaya are expanding their global relationship to encompass the distribution of workforce management software from IEX Corporation, a NICE company. The decision to extend the long-term distribution agreement between NICE and Avaya to include the IEX® TotalView® Workforce Management system is based upon the companies' shared vision for delivering a comprehensive suite of applications that address the full spectrum of contact center business issues – from operational to strategic. “We are excited about expanding our long-standing relationship with NICE to include workforce management technology from IEX,”
