MONTEREY COUNTY RAISES THE BAR ON RELIABILITY, QUALITY ASSURANCE WITH NICE
The Monterey County (CA) Emergency Communications Department (ECD) has selected a NICE solution to capture and analyze emergency radio and 9-1-1 interactions in its consolidated 9-1-1 center located in Salinas, California.

The County’s NICE solution, which will replace a Dictaphone Freedom® recording system, will combine the NiceLog® capture platform with NICE quality assurance software.

SCORES ATTEND INSIGHT 2006, 2ND ANNUAL NICE PUBLIC SAFETY CUSTOMER SUMMIT
More than one hundred and fifty NICE customers converged at the APCO conference in Orlando, Florida recently to attend Insight 2006, NICE Systems’ 2nd annual public safety summit. The event took place at the Peabody Orlando on August 9th. Attendees networked with their public safety peers at the opening reception and savored tasty cuisine, courtesy of NICE. Conference-goers also got an exclusive first look at NICE InformTM, NICE’s revolutionary interaction management solution designed to capture, analyze, and manage the full spectrum of multi-media information found in 9-1-1 centers. NICE Inform is scheduled for release in early 2007.

ERIE COUNTY (NY) SELECTS NICE INTERACTION CAPTURE SOLUTION FOR NEW E-9-1-1 CENTER
Erie County (NY) has selected a NICE interaction capture solution for its new E-9-1-1 center. Located in Western New York, Erie County is the most populous county in New York State, second only to the New York City metropolitan area.

The County’s NICE solution, which will include NICE’s advanced NiceLog® platform for capturing emergency communications, the NICE Storage CenterTM and Scenario ReplayTM software, is being provided to Erie County Police Services by NICE partner Wilmac (based in Rochester, NY). The implementation of the NICE interaction capture solution is part of a County-wide initiative to improve emergency communications and public safety.
