Interactions 2014 has kicked off at the uber-trendy Cosmopolitan Hotel, with more than 2,000 attendees making their way to Las Vegas. They’ve joined us to discuss market trends, share best practices, and look to the future of how companies will shape the customer journey. And, of course, they are here to network with peers and have a whole bunch of fun.
The theme for this year is “Be Ready for Every Journey,” and the first leg of our journey was the pre-conference sessions. More than 600 people attended over 30 workshops Monday, which featured hands-on training, demos on live systems, and the sharing of best practices.

Monday evening featured the Welcome Reception, which provided everyone a chance to “break the ice,” and have a beer and a bite with new and old friends. The demo stations in the showcase were scenes of long lines – as if people were lining up to buy tickets to a hot Vegas show.
From the smiles and laughter, to the interesting and passionate discussions about customer service, Day One proved to be a big success. The Journey continues Tuesday and we expect another great day.
