How does mobile recording work? Can it record both incoming and outgoing calls?

NICE Mobile Recording solution supports the two types of implementations for mobile phone recording using a compliant mobile application: direct conferencing and indirect conferencing. Both are capable of recording all incoming and outgoing calls. With direct conferencing, the recording server registers itself as a SIP trunk on the enterprise PBX. The smart application dials directly to the recording extension on every incoming and outgoing call, inviting the recording extension to be a party on a conference for recording purposes. The Voxsmart solution employs direct conferencing. With indirect conferencing, offered by NICE certified vendors like Obsidian Wireless and Compliant Phones, an Enterprise Compliance Server (ECS) is used as a soft PBX, with which the recording server registers itself as a SIP trunk. All mobile calls are routed through the ECS that conferences a recording extension to record the call. An ECS can be utilized to enforce enterprise compliance policies like white lists and blacklists.
